About Us
How it began
Dragoon Unlimited’s story began in the Brazos River Bottoms in West Texas and the Ouachita National Forest of Arkansas. It was there I first enjoyed the taste of outdoor life on weekend and week-long camping trips with my parents.
These family outings evolved into a life of adventure which saw me travel the world as an Eagle Scout, survival instructor, Army cavalry trooper and lifelong outdoorsman.
I’ve experienced the peaks of the Rocky Mountains and the depths of the Pacific Ocean, as well as a myriad of places in between, Africa, Australia and the wilds of Alaska. I always searched for ways to do things “better”, whether modifying current equipment or building my own.
Now, my family and I want to share this passion for the outdoors, adventure and the confidence that comes with the experience.
We also want to be a force for good in our community. To that end, we donate a portion of our proceeds to veteran and other organizations making a difference in the world. When you buy Dragoon Gear you are part of this effort.
